Happy Canada Day

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday! Carter is sleeping the day away since he was called in for an extra full night shift last night, this was after he had been at my dad's office working on their computers all day. What a busy guy! He has to work the next 4 nights as well and then has an overtime shift at the BC Lions game next Friday night. What will we do with all of the extra money? Probably pay off some bills, and of course buy Carter a nice birthday present for his 31st birthday on July 8th!

Since Clara decided not to nap for very long this morning, I packed both of the kids up and headed down to Art & Knapps garden store just down the street from us. Of course, do you think I remembered my camera? No! Aidan had a good time playing with their Thomas the Train table and checking out all of the electric trains running, we also rode on a little train that runs through the grounds. I will be sure to remember my camera for next time! Anyways, here are a few photos from the last week...

It is so hard to get a good photo of them both! I have almost given up!

Clara with her friend Katelyn, it is hard to believe that Katelyn is about 2 1/2 months younger than Clara!

Yummy soft boiled eggs in his Lego cups that Nona brought back from Paris

Off to the beach! Aidan was a little upset because he usually likes to sit in the bottom seat.

Thanks for the wonderful hat Auntie Tracy and Uncle Ed!
